To Split a Parcel by Placing a Boundary

Select the Place Boundary tool.
Place the boundary so that it crosses both edges of a parcel.
The Split Dialog opens.
Highlight the source area.
The corresponding target areas display.
Right-click on a target area value to change its properties.
Click OK.
